Objective: 

Reconstruct a jumble of scrambled words to rebuild an entire sentence.

Setup

  1. Personal whiteboards and markers for each player.
  2. Guide scrambles the words of a sentence and distributes an equal fragment to each player.

Rules

  1. Time limit: 5 minutes
  2. Sentence length increases with each era of the game.
  3. In the 3rd era one word is blanked. In the 5th era 2 words are blanked.

How to Play

  1. The players rearrange the words of the fragment of the sentence that they were given.
  2. The players arrange their whiteboards, so that the fragments are all in the correct order.
  3. Players show each their whiteboards and rearrange them to form the sentence.
  4. Success: Sentence matches perfectly. Failure: Time runs out or order’s wrong.

Tips

Guess missing words if a fragment’s incomplete.

Look for familiar phrases.

Teamwork is key—watch others’ fragments.
